About us

Saudi French Company for Chemical Industries was established in 1998 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is specialized in the manufacture of high quality leather tanning chemicals, particularly the Basic Chromium Sulphate, which is the main chemical used in leather tanning.

 in addition to Sodium Metabisulphite used for water treatment plants and many other uses.

Pancro-Soaking AF 1

Features : Enzymatic Soaking Aid
Appearance: Powder
pH : 8 – 8.5
Application:0.15% -0.2% For long soaking & 0.25% -0.4% For short soaking
Advantages : Shorter soaking time. Excellent soaking enzyme for hides & skins. Improves the overall soaking & very uniformly soaks the hides & skins

Pancro-Soaking AF 1

Features : Anionic surfactant
Appearance:  Liquid
pH : 8 – 8.5
Application: 0.2% – 0.3% based on the weight of hides & skins
Advantages : Strong water uptake

Auxiliary Liming AF 1

Features : Blend of Reducers / Anti-wrinkling/ Liming Assist
Appearance:  Liquid
pH : 9.5 – 10.5
Application: 1 – 1.2 % For Hides. 1 % for Goat 0.8 -1% for Sheep skins
Advantages : Optimizes swelling, opens up pelts, reduceswrinkles & increase area yield & improves the quality

Hair Remover

Features : Sulphide Free De-hairing agent.
Appearance:  Liquid
pH : 7 – 8
Application: 30% on Weight of salted skins without the addition of sodium sulphide in pasting
Advantages : Regulates lime swelling. More open up of skins & finer grain. Yielding more area.

Bating & Deliming Agent AF 1

Features : Stabilized Bating Enzyme
Appearance: Powder
pH : 8.5- 9.5
Application:0.7% – 0.8 % for sheep skins, 0.8% – 1% for goat skins, 0.5 % for cow & camel hides
Advantages : Environmentally friendly bating agent. Improves softness & grain flexibility. Helps to achieve a very clean grain

Degreasing Agent AF5

Features : Wetting cum & Degreasing Agent
Appearance: Liquid
pH : 6 – 7.0
Application:0.1 – 0.3 % in soaking & liming. 0.2 – 0.4% in deliming & bating
Advantages : Very effective wetting & degreasing agent. Cleans the grain surface, especially in deliming & bating

DegreaDegreasing Agent AF 10

Features :Biodegradable degreasing agent. Fatty Alcohol
Appearance: Liquid
pH : 7 -7.5
Application:0.6 – 2 %
based on weight of hides & skins
Advantages : Uniform degreasing effect. More suitable for fatty sheep skins

Fungicide AF 30

Features :Fungicide for preservation of hides & skins
Appearance: Liquid
pH : 6 – 7
Application:0.15 – 0.25 % based on pelt weight
Advantages : Very good preservation from mould. Helps to protect leathers for long time storage.

Tannochrome 33 (liquid)

Features :Chrome Sulphate
Appearance: Liquid
pH : 2.6 – 2.8
Application:8 – 10 % based on weight of hides & skins
Advantages : Does not contain any chrome VI. Allows a very quick penetration compared to the chrome sulphate in powder.Does not have any precipitation effect in effluent and can have an entire fixation in the skin.

Degreasing Agent AF 9

Features :Fatty Alcohol
Appearance: Liquid
pH : 7 -7.5
Application:0.6 – 2.5 % based on weight of hides & skins
Advantages : Recommended for degreasing of pelts with high natural grease content. Results in thorough and even degreasing

Basifying Agent AF 2

Features :Based on magnesium Oxide
Appearance: Powder
pH : Approx. 11
Application:0.4 -0.45% on pelt weight
Advantages : Improves chrome exhaustion & chrome fixation. Gives uniform basification without sudden pH jump.Provides even distribution of Chrome. Running time: At least 6 – 7 hrs
